Problems with slow burning on iTunes!

Lately we’ve had a lot of reports on people having problems with iTunes since the 7.6.1.9 update and the latest 7.6.2.9 update. We been having the problems ourselves!
The problem is when you want to burn tracks to a CD, it seems that when you try to burn the burn speed is been reduced considerable, for example a five minute burn of a CD now takes between fourteen to sixteen minutes.
At first a lot of people think the problem is with their hardware, but, from what we have read on the Apple Support Forums it not the hardware it IS iTunes itself.
So it seems that hopefully Apple will discover the fault and sort it out on the next upgrade of iTunes, but for now all wee can do is suffer the slow burning and post your problems on the Apple Support Forums in a hope that they will discover the problem that little bit quicker.
If you do have to burn anything using iTunes 7.6.1.9 or 7.6.2.9 then we recommend starting the process and then going off to make a tea or coffee and sit back and relax while it does it’s slow work ![]()
