If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Now we know many an artist over at ReverbNation, we have quite a few Atom Sounds artists listed there also, but if you are an artist listed on ReverbNation have you taken advantage of some of the promotion options that are freely available.

A really useful option is the “Press” widget, this is where you can add reviews etc that you have received and these are than animated on your main ReverbNation page, but, you can take advantage of this widget by adding it to your own website as can be seen on the Remergence home page, giving a nice effect and showing your top reviews etc.

Other widgets are players for your website/blog and these come in a collection of sizes from small to very big, these are great if you want to add your music to your website and offering a great looking radio type gadget for your readers to listen to your music.

Increasing your fan base is also something that you will find useful by adding a widget that will ask a reader to subscribe to your ReverbNation mailing list, you can then send your news out via the ReverbNation admin tools on your artist page.

In your admin tools you can also add your store links to where you music is available to buy and this is added to the footer of all your outgoing mail via the fan reach, we would also recommend signing up for the FREE “open bank” option, this will bring you a revenue on visits to your artist page and plays of your music, you will not become a millionaire, but hey, every little helps.

The “Street Team” is useful for your fans to help you out, get them to help you out by adding a player/banner etc to their websites, you can even reward the top fan with whatever you want to increase the incentive to promote your music.

ReverbNation has many more options, too many for me to go into, so my advice would be to stop by and signup for an artist account today, you can’t go wrong, it’s FREE after all.
