If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

We received an email the other day from a website called Aralie with an invite to stop by the site and check it out, so we did and signed up using our band “Remergence

So what’s it all about.

Aralie.com was founded to give independent artists a free way to sell and promote their music online.

Upon signing up, which was painless and clicking on an email with an activation code, we were in, it’s all simple really, sign up, upload your music and sell it! The site is currently in a Beta mode at the moment, but from what we have seen so far it looks and runs pretty good, uploading your music is very easy, but, the lack of been able to put your tracks in their correct order is a pain in the backside, but as I said before the site is in Beta mode.

Aralie.com was created to support independent artists, by giving them a free market place to sell and promote their music. We are dedicated to helping small artists by doing anything we can to help them get exposure, gigs, sponsorship, and interviews. All music on Aralie.com will always be available DRM free, with no strings attached, and always downloadable for what ever price you choose (including $0).

So what do you get for selling your music, the site says that the artists receive 85% of each purchase of your music, 13% sales and service commission to Aralie.com, and 2% is given to charity.

Doesn’t sound too bad so far!

All payments from Aralie.com are done through PayPal to ensure security and efficiency.  Aralie.com donates 2% of every sale to a different charity each month, the charities are hand picked by Aralie.com staff.

So for the time been, we are going to give the site a test run over the next few months and we will post back here with our findings, if anyone else signs up or has signed up with them, then please comment here on what you think of the site.

Seems to work pretty well….its a nice idea, some of the proceeds going to charidee!

It IS a pain not being able to set the running order of tracks, and seems a little pointless putting a track description in when uploading, as there seems no way at present to access that information afterwards.
But, like you said, it IS a beta version.

Thanks for letting us know about it.

@ Paul - Just been checking your page out over there, looking good, it is a shame about track order, I’ll email them and ask them about it..
