We are proud to announce that we finally received the web graphic and certificate from the IOMAs (International Online Music Awards) today, so we have proudly added it to the Atom Sounds website, we have also framed the certificate and now have it hanging with the other certificates that we got for 2005 and 2006.
A big thanks to everyone who voted for Atom Sounds and the IOMAs and don’t forget that around September this year the votes will be starting again, so don’t forget to vote for Atom Sounds and the collection of our artists

Good News for fans of Remergence and POP, Remegence have decided to release the new album as a limited FREE download on our POP page, it will be limited to so many free downloads after which it will go up for sale!
Remergence have had a delay on the album as they scrapped most of the tracks as they just didn’t think they made the Remergence grade, so they have started re-working tracks and creating new tracks, so it may take a little longer for the release, but we will keep you posted

The popular Atom Sounds Indie Music forums have been updated today to the latest version of the PHPBB forums software.
All previous posts and users information has been transferred/upgraded and is now live, we have some great sections in the forums including music resources, OMD sites, CD Retail services, DIY Promotion tips and more, as well as the usual places for artists to introduce themselves and their music.

dj/sample merchant through the 90’s running under the name assassin and blue dreamer playing at festivals and underground parties polyvinyl chloride and the jammy hendrix situation started as a project in 2000 that seen marc move from vinyl and samplers to computers and keyboards the project still runs but it was quickly realized that poly’s work rate was well beyound human capabilites so it was decided to cut him free to get on with his journey as THE ASSASSIN (basically he burnt us out the guy don’t sleep!) his style well it’s polytronic he’s into poly synths (korg poly six)it’s where he made his first connection with acid music (1989) his music can be very dark and twisted at times but generally it’s a fine blend of electronic style’s rolled into one –polytronic– 2007 june see’s marc back with old friend dylan a local singer and by november a band /jamming unit is formed hubbed around mister dylan’s vox,marc put’s computer music on the back burner and slowly they form a band.
2008 after a couple of band memeber change’s in 2007 due to other comitment’s and work.the line up stands as—-dylan on vocal drums and bass, andrew on bass and guitar, mark on guitar,programming,synth’s,effect’s and sound engineer ,juby on drums and chris on drums,guitar,backing vox and rythm guitar and everyone else come’s and goes when they can–craig on guitar’s andrew’s bro on bass and guitar,dave bass and programming

The main site for Atom Sounds is currently going through a face lift, we are re-designing the website to make it look and feel better, with better search options for artists as well having them categorised under their genres etc.
We hope to have the new database of artists complete over the next few months at which point the new designed website will go live, so please keep with us while we make changes to the site.

Overseer
For those following developments on Project Overseer Productions main Artist Section (known as POP) will be pleased to hear that the long awaited upgrade is taking place.
Improvements include a better general layout with easy access to members musical creations, also a better chart system, forums (general and personal) … better photo gallery presentation, Press Kit, Chat Rooms (just use your Artist name login, not password to enter) … future live reviews events like POP’s old `Friday Night Live` will return again to these fully featured chat rooms.
Also for the first time is full HTML page editing, and ALL members have VIP features, a small charge is made for extra space if needed, though most find what’s offered free fine.
Each Artist has many shop features to choose from, and by using PayPal, paid downloads of many file types as well as CD sales are possible as standard.
Coming soon is the return of POP’s Arcade games, more than 450 fun games that will become part of the main Chart system. These are only a few of the features on offer to talented Independents looking for a good home to showcase their works, and don’t forget … POP Artist have the bonus `interlinking` POP SPACE to extend promos, and its FREE!
