Techno Music Can Make Excellent Background

Techno music is a form of electronic dance music that originated in the mid-1980s as an outgrowth of electro, New Wave and Funk and is considered often to be a response to the end of the Cold War in industrial America. Techno music is often used to generally describe all forms of electronic dance music, although electronic music can be broken down into further styles mostly distinguished by the types of instrumental hardware they use and the music’s beats per minute. Techno music features percussive and synthetic sounds and studio effects that typically provide the main melodic theme. Techno music is made in many different ways, but is created most commonly using a sequencer and electronic devices.

New Community for Talented Bands & Solo Artists

Hey all, I thought I’d post about the new community that Karen has started over and Ning.com, it’s call “Talented Bands and Solo Artists

Karen started this as another avenue for all the musicians out there with the hankering for some extra promo and to get noticed by others.

So what is ning I here you ask, well it’s a website that is built using PHP and Java to enable everyone to start a community in anything they wish…

If you wish to join then just pay a visit to the site and join up, so far Karen has added tracks that can be downloaded, the Radio Atom player from SoundClick and two new groups “Bands” and “Solo Artists”.

Since I met Karen all them years back on one of the Remergence CDs, I must say that she never seems to stop with the promotion side of many artists at Atom Sounds and the work that she does on the websites to help fellow artists get their music heard. No wonder she never sleeps
